El intendente Gustavo Sastre presentó la iniciativa «Octubre sin plásticos» en la Escuela Municipal de Pesca “Juan Demonte”. Esta propuesta busca recolectar plásticos durante todo el mes y contará con la participación de estudiantes de diversas instituciones educativas.
Durante la presentación, Sastre explicó que el curso que logre recolectar la mayor cantidad de plásticos ganará un avistaje gratuito de ballenas en Puerto Pirámides.
El evento reunió a autoridades de la escuela, así como al secretario de Ecología y Protección Ambiental, Facundo Ursino, y al subsecretario de Educación, Pablo Sappa.
La iniciativa, que involucra a escuelas locales y también a establecimientos de Rawson y Trelew, tiene como objetivo fomentar el cuidado del medio ambiente . Los cursos participantes incluyen la Escuela Nº 790 y la Escuela Nº 7707, y el ganador será seleccionado por su propio establecimiento.
Sastre comentó sobre la importancia del concurso: “estuvimos en la Escuela Municipal de Pesca, donde presentamos el concurso a través del cual estudiantes de dicho establecimiento y de las Escuelas Provinciales Nº 790 y Nº 7707 recolectarán plásticos durante todo el mes de octubre”.
El intendente también destacó que los ganadores disfrutarán de un viaje gratuito a Puerto Pirámides para realizar el avistaje de ballenas.
“Estamos muy contentos por ver cómo nuestros jóvenes se comprometen para resguardar nuestros recursos naturales y estamos convencidos de que tenemos mucho que aprender de ellos”, concluyó Sastre.
